INFORMATION ABOUT STUDIES

From its establishment in 1963, the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSI) has matured and the number of graduates rises to over 8000. At the moment, the 480 Professors of the ETSI teach both official and non-official studies. Among the official studies, the School offers 8 undergraduate degrees, 7 engineering degrees (currently being phased out), 5 master's degrees with professional level (from school year 2014/15) as well as 7 different master's degrees and 7 doctoral programmes. Among the non-official studies, the School offers one master's degree and 3 specialization courses.
Undergraduate and master's degrees
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER: UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING + MASTER'S DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

The Industrial Engineering graduate is trained to design, carry out and manage all kinds of industrial facilities and production plants. These studies are professionally recognised due to the extensive knowledge in a wide variety of industrial disciplines they provide and their great adaptability and versatility. The new Undergraduate degree in Industrial Technology Engineering gives direct access to the forthcoming Master's degree in Industrial Engineering. Both studies combined will replace the Industrial Engineering qualification (previous to Bologna Plan).
To study this degree, there is a single access way and 11 specializations: Industrial Machinery Mechanics, Industrial Construction Mechanics, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, Automatic, Energetics, Materials, Organisation, Production and Environment.
